But what if 3D printing a new home allowed people to have permanent high quality shelter within a matter of weeks? Ross Maguire, CEO of Azure Printed Homes is currently printing a room in a day from used plastic bottles. He’s on the show to explain the technology behind this sophisticated and speedy housing solution and how they’re currently using it in California. They hope that soon they will use the technology in more remote locations.

Jess now also nominates unknown scientists for awards they would never have entered for themselves, attempting to significantly raise their profiles and shine a light on their work.
