Welcome to another soothing episode of the Sleepy Scriptures One-Year Bible, where I read from the King James Version of the Holy Bible with soft, calming music to help you unwind, pray, or peacefully fall asleep.
Tonight, we read Psalms 91 through 110, a sacred collection of prayers and praises that remind us of God’s protection, majesty, and everlasting reign.
In these verses, we find comfort in God’s sheltering wings, strength in His righteousness, and awe in His sovereignty. From the beloved promises of Psalm 91 to the prophetic majesty of Psalm 110, these psalms invite us to rest in divine assurance and worship the One who reigns forever.
📖 Highlighted Verses

  • Psalm 91:1–2 — “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
  • Psalm 95:6–7 — “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture.”
  • Psalm 100:4–5 — “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting.”
  • Psalm 103:11–12 — “For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”
  • Psalm 110:1 — “The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”

As you listen, allow each verse to quiet your heart and draw you closer to the Lord — your refuge, your fortress, and your peace.
God Bless.
