Chris Nowinski is a former football player at Harvard University and professional wrestler with WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment. After enduring a career-ending head injury, Chris has dedicated his professional life to serving patients and families affected by brain trauma, particularly Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that develops after repeated head injuries. The Christmas story in Luke’s gospel has two famous songs - the first by Jesus’ mother Mary and the second by Zechariah, the Father of John the Baptist. Zechariah sang his heart out. He was filled with the Spirit and praised God. What makes you sing out loud? For Zechariah, there were some amazing things! It was the plan of God to save and rescue the world. It was the miracle of the birth of his son, John, who was to prepare the way for Jesus’ arrival.
