(Jeremiah 17:9) The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?

(2 Timothy 3:2) People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,

(Jeremiah 17:5) This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord.”

(Matthew 6:33) But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

(Matthew 6:21) For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

(John 3:16) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

(Psalms 119:36) Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.

(Proverbs 3:5-6) 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

(Matthew 6:24) “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
