As Gabriel explains God’s plan and the power of the Holy Spirit, Mary gradually moves from questioning to trusting, accepting the incredible promise. Ultimately, her humble and submissive response, “I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word,” serves as a model of faith, showing us how to trust God’s purposes even when they surpass our understanding.
