Hey Dads,
Transacore sent us a box of their Guidelights to review. These are wall outlet LED night lights or guidelights so that you can have some simple to install, easy lighting at night. These wall outlet LED lights have a sensor on the front of them so that they turn off when it’s bright in the room and turn on when it is dark, or when a shadow is cast over the sensor.
We have installed these guidelights in our hallway, the kitchen, our kid’s bedrooms and in our bedroom. They are working great, and I am really liking these guidelights because they give you just the right amount of light when it is dark outside and you don’t want to turn on a ceiling light, and I also like how easy these wall outlet guidelights are to install.
To install these LED guidelights, all you have to do is take off your old wall outlet plate, and put on the wall outlet plate with the guidelights. The large contacts make it easy to connect to the screws on the side of the socket so that you know you have a good connection.
I have now had experience with the Transacore Guidelight and the SnapPower Guidelight and in my next video I will be doing a comparison of the two.
