Hey Dads,
Our kids sleep with a sound machine, and we have had the same one for about 7 years, and it’s a great sound machine for baby.
My wife and I bought the HoMedics SS-3000 Sound Machine a long time ago, and it is still working great. This is the best sound machine for sleeping.
This sleep machine comes with 6 different sounds including:
- Cradle
- Ocean
- Heartbeat
- Rock-a-bye
- Twinkle
- Rain
Their favorite sound to listen to on this Homedics sound machine while they are sleeping or taking a nap is the Ocean setting. I am really not a fan of the Cradle, Rock-A-Bye or Twinkle settings because they don’t sound very good to me.
This sounds machine for kids also comes with a picture projector. Since we have had this so long, our kids have lost all of the picture disks for the projector, so we don’t use it anymore. I also found that the light from the projector keeps the kids awake longer.
This sound machine also comes with a timer, which is one feature that we really don’t use that often, but you can set the timer on the sound machine to turn off at 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. I would really like to find a sound machine that you can program to come on and off at certain times during the day. Overall, I think that this is the best sound machine for baby that you can buy.
