On today's show, our first guest is Dr. Marc Feuerbach, the Supreintendent of the Cartersville City School System for his his monthly check-in. With back-to-school having just started two weeks ago, we wanted to see how the students and teachers have settled in to their routines. We also discuss HS sports, their recent designation as an Economic Development Partner and their focus on aligning education with the needs of the workforce. Then, in the final hour, we are joined by Mary Agrusa from Savoy Automobile Museum for "Stories from the Driver's Side of Savoy." This weekly segment allows us to tell more of the stories behind the cars and temporary exhibits that are part of Savoy Automobile Museum. Today we discussed the Moonshine Runners and how that led to the birth of NASCAR.
