Behind Our Eyes

Nawahine Kahoopii is the traditional name of our next guest. Known to most people as Ana, she is an elder, or kupuna, from Hawaii where she is an active member of the community and a peaceful protector of sacred land and culture.

Ana experienced a powerful kundalini awakening in her early twenties after an avid search for the truth. She explains what happened in this fascinating conversation, as well as how it altered the trajectory of her life. We get real about the challenges such an experience can instigate, as well as honour that it couldn’t have been any other way.

The brutality inflicted on the Hawaiian people and their land is an important topic, as Ana shares the powerful story of how the people stood together to protect their sacred mountain. This resulted in her arrest! And it's humbling to hear how this movement and the force it stands against was one of the most potent awakening experiences of her life.

We delve into some of the most beautiful aspects of Hawaiian culture and history, including the deep significance of Hula and the term ‘Aloha’. It reminds us what we have lost in many Western cultures - that deep connection to our land, our ancestors and the unseen world all around us.

We also hear how Ana started channelling a group of higher-dimensional beings over 15 years ago. Collectively called ‘Samuel’, these energies are now interconnected with Ana, as she works with them to deliver higher perspectives and reassurance for many people around the world. We are honoured that we were able to invite Samuel in to answer a few questions as part of this podcast recording.
