The Art of Gratitude Mastery with Chris Schembra
Manage episode 385198176 series 3422630
During the summer, I was in Greece, on one of the most beautiful islands in the world. I knew I was having a good time but couldn't feel it inside. I realized I was incapable of feeling gratitude.
Gratitude is a beautiful word, and I could understand the concept rationally, but I couldn't feel it in my body.
There have been plenty of times when things looked incredible externally- I was traveling somewhere unique or having a remarkable experience. But internally, there was this disconnect, and I was not truly present.
So today, I'm joined by gratitude guru and bestselling author Chris Schembra to dissect the connection between imposter syndrome, entitlement, and gratitude.
Chris explains how gratitude helps develop humility and appreciation for what others have contributed. He also stresses the importance of self-gratitude to combat self-doubt.
If you want to learn more about overcoming imposter syndrome, healing at the heart level through innovative practices, and developing a more embodied gratitude practice, this conversation is for you. It will help you discover a new perspective that could guide your journey.
“When you wake up to the benefits that you’ve received in your life, and you give gratitude to the people that have helped you get to where you are today, you acknowledge that they invested something of value into you.”
