Jada Griffin on being a voice for walk-on's, Track Athlete, and Overcoming Adversity| The IT Factor

In my conversation with Ms. Jada Griffin she was preparing to head to nationals to compete! She stated that she was ready to get the hard work outs out the way, but thankful to be at nationals.

Coming from high school Jada was not recruited out of high school, but decided to go to NC State, and be a walk on. She was in a culture shock at NC State but when we spoke on NCA&T she spoke that her experiences were completely different. Jada came into her own won more competitions and became the athlete that she knew she could always be.

Since this interview she did an amazing job at nationals. Jada outstanding performance at nationals helped her to be asked to represent Team USA on the mixed 4x400 meter relay team at the 2023 Pan American Games in Chile. Her team picked up the bronze medal.

These are the first of many accomplishments that are coming Ms. Griffin’s way! I look forward to seeing her grow as a professional track star! I can not wait to see you representing America in the Olympics soon, and most of all seeing you grow as a person!
