In this episode, we talk with Christian Mahnke and Sebastian Schöps of Ear Reality. Ear Reality creates interactive voice fiction and has an authoring tool to create interactive voice stories and experiences.
Christian and Sebastian share how they got started with voice and their passion for interactive storytelling.
We discuss voice experiences they have built including The Iron Falcon and The Magic Forest. What have they done to make these stories so compelling? Why they use voice actors for most dialog but do use TTS and the voice assistant voice in some situations? What makes an interactive voice experience sticky and keeps listeners engaged?
