Sepsis survivor Matthew is editor-at-large of The New European, as well as contributing editor to Prospect, and a columnist for The Evening Standard. He’s held previous editor roles with the Spectator, slow-news outlet, Tortoise, and is also the former deputy editor of The Sunday Telegraph.
