After a pre-season "state of the union" from Jim Rutherford, Patrik Allvin and Adam Foote, the cup runneth over for Matt and Blake on today's show. The guys listen and react to some rather illuminating quotes from the Canucks brass on: the future of Quinn Hughes, the difference in EP40 this season vs last, the search for a second line centre, and the Foote on-ice system. They also ponder Rutherford's admitted conundrum of whether to go all in and sacrifice the future in a gamble to improve and lure Hughes into his next contract. TSN's Frank Corrado jumps in to talk about the meaningfulness, or lack thereof, for both prospects camp and main camp.
