Mark Vicente is an author, speaker, and award-winning Writer/Director/Producer from Johannesburg, South Africa. His filmmaking journey began at a young age, leading him to become the Director of Photography for the musical *Sarafina!*, starring Whoopi Goldberg, and one of the youngest cinematographers to shoot a big-budget studio film with Disney’s *Fatherhood*, featuring Patrick Swayze and Halle Berry.

Driven by a desire to tell untold stories, Mark created the groundbreaking film *What the BLEEP do we Know?!*, which blended science, philosophy, and filmmaking, achieving remarkable success through grassroots marketing. He later released *Encender el Corazon*, addressing the kidnapping epidemic in Mexico, but made the difficult decision to pull it from distribution after uncovering ties to the criminal enterprise NXIVM. This journey was documented in the HBO series *THE VOW*.

Mark's current project, *Empathy Not Included* (The Narcissist’s Playbook), is a feature-length documentary that explores the pervasive issue of narcissism, featuring insights from self-aware malignant narcissists alongside wisdom from survivors and mental health professionals.
