In part seven of our series ABRAHAM: TRUSTING IS TRUSTING, our senior pastor Brian help us process the events in Genesis 16. Reminding us of the dark place of pain and disappointment that Sarah is in during this time, Brian encourages us not to judge others – or ourselves – based off our worst moments, and calls us not to take our answer out on those closest to us. In a story full of darkness and humans treating each other evilly, we end with the hope that Hagar finds in Yahweh; hope that she is able to rely on going forward as she trusts the ‘God who sees me.’
