Each week, in our liturgy, we repeat the words of the Apostle Paul, “Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.”
This Sunday we’ll consider the final section of the final book in the Bible, Revelation 21 & 22, which tells us about what will be when Christ comes again, more specifically how God will renew the world so that heaven and earth are one.
These truths sustained the early church through temptations, tribulations, false teaching. We too need to understand what John says “must soon take place” since what we believe about the future changes the way we live today.
