Radio Quarantine Kolkata is an internet-based non-commercial community radio station born out of Kolkata during the coronavirus-induced lockdown in March 2020. Our participants and audiences have since grown all over the divided and fragmented regions and linguistic communities of the many Bengals, including the Bengal diaspora. Here we stay rooted in our surroundings, regions, languages, histories, politics, cultures, geographies, local spaces and communities. We wish to bring solidarity to isolation, and love in the times of a post-corona dystopia.
