I do want to give you a quick update on the progress of my documentary about the history of Terrestrial Radio. After 9 years of this labor of love, it's all but complete. In fact, I decided to edit it into two different productions: a condensed 2-hour movie and a 5-part docuseries.
Early feedback has been very positive. My last hurdle in production is to raise the $16,000 that Getty Images is charging for the copyrights to some critical images needed to tell the story. Now on with the program...you may or may not know...every radio station cluster has its own strange identity and has its own way of doing things and in a lot of cases...some great crazy stories come from things that happen behind the scenes at a radio station,,, for me that concept was pushed to extremes during my three year stint in Fort Smith Arkansas..and if you listened to to this podcast in the past... you likely have heard me reference my time at KMAG in Fort Smith, however I feel havent reall scratcheed the surface of how many nutty things were, while i was there in Arkansas...in fact there were times I questioned my own common sense...and to prove that it wasn't just me...on todays episode I have invited two of my former co-workers from that time..In fact all three of us are what folks from Arkansas called Yankees..SO todays episode is three Yankees in Arkansas ..so to discuss this..let me bring in Corey Winfield whos grew up in Southwest Michigan and Jeff O Keefe who is from Indiana
