Today's Orthodox Nationalist comes from Matthew Raphael Johnson's book, Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges: The Record of Anti-Communist Military Governments in Latin America. (Hromada Books, 2019). Specifically, it is a substantial revision of the chapter on Augusto Pinochet, a man controversial even among nationalists and conservatives. Last year was the 50th anniversary of his coup, a fact that caused a recent flurry of materials on him. While Johnson's book was meant to be only a brief introduction to this complex topic, this lecture provides far greater detail on Pinochet, the coup and his impact on the Chilean economy.
