● No country in the world has achieved complete gender equality, women are still
expected to do the majority of reproductive labor.
● Violence against women is the greatest manifestation of gender inequality, 1 in 3
women(likely more) experience violence against them in their lifetime.
● Education inequality is the closest to being closed, the furthest from being closed is politics. The political gender gap remains the widest of them all.
● Feminism exists everywhere, it’s not a Western phenomenon that needs to be imported. Indigenous feminist movements exist everywhere, even when they’re invisible.
