Peri-workout (nutrition around your workout) is such an important aspect of getting the most out of both recovery and performance in the gym. In this weeks episode I discuss the final meal, post-workout nutrition and how the timing can make such a difference in optimising performance and recovery once we are finished in the gym.
Post workout nutrition is the key stone to optimising muscle protein synthesis and repairing the damaged muscles post workout. In many peoples eyes it is probably the most important meal out of the trio of meals I have discussed over the weeks.
