In this very first episode we chat with Peter Sharoff, former CPO of AXA XL and voted in the Top 100 CPO's of 2023 by Procurement Magazine.
He talks about, amongst other things, the benefit of having worked in other functions before moving into a CPO role, the highlights of his transformation of procurement at AXA XL post merger, the challenges of building and managing a global team, how IR35 was an opportunity to improve how functions engaged with procurement overall and whether procurement should have a seat at the top table.
