Our Lone Star story of the day: Reports abound, investigations launched, actions taken – all for a story that didn’t read as legit from the beginning. My first take was why the heck aren’t Republicans out registering voters too!?
There is nothing illegal about registering voters outside of a DPS office and it doesn’t matter if they could have registered inside as well. And, how in the heck would an observer know if the claimed groups were engaged in registering non-citizens? Even the original, very flawed and wrong report, did not make that allegation, it simply said “immigrants.” Some of the hardest working Republicans I know are immigrants including my wife.
