Over the last 15 years, she has navigated the intricate challenges associated with accessing safety-net programs while caring for her daughter, who faces significant medical challenges. Currently serving on the board of Openhouse SF, an organization dedicated to providing affordable housing and services for the aging LGBT community, she continues to advocate for inclusivity and community support.
