Dr. Kailee Carlson is a licensed acupuncturist and registered nurse. Shs a doctorate in Chinese Medicine with a Sports Emphasis and is passionate about shifting the focus away from “sick” care towards “health” care. Her mission is to empower her patients to live up to their full potential by providing necessary tools for them to achieve optimal health and wellbeing.
Kailee is also an ultra-endurance athlete who has completed numerous ultra-marathons, triathlons, and big multi-day hiking adventures. Most recently she was one of just four finishers at the Seven Trails Ultra Festival 100 miler on Orca’s Island in NW Washington.
In this episode we learn more about how Dr. Kailee found her love of endurance sports, and how her experience with eastern medicine led her to obtain her doctorate in chinese medicine and make a career out of working with athletes to help them live and perform at the highest level possible.
