On December 24, Pastor Ryan Kimmel delivered a powerful Christmas Eve sermon based on Matthew 2:1-18. Pastor Ryan contrasted King Herod’s fearful, destructive reaction to Christ’s birth with the liberating and life-giving message of the Gospel. Herod's obsession with power led him to lies, manipulation, and even the horrific act of murdering innocent children, highlighting the darkness of resisting God’s authority. Yet, Pastor Ryan reminded us that Jesus cannot be stopped—He brings liberation from sin, the truth that transcends all human understanding, and the gift of eternal life through His death and resurrection. This Christmas, we are called to reject the spirit of Herod in our lives, embrace Christ fully, and celebrate the unstoppable power of His love and salvation.
