As we begin the new year it's a time to reflect on our life and think about our priorities. In Matthew 6:33 Jesus said, "Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well." What does it mean to put God first in our life? As we perhaps consider making some changes in our life in the new year some of the changes will call for us to discipline ourselves to get the results we want. The Christian community has been practicing and developing spiritual disciplines that help us to put God first in our life since the first century.
