Lani Love is a veteran DJ who has held residencies all over the US including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. In addition to holding down sets at influential hotspots like Soho House and Virgin Hotel, she’s 1/3 of Club Mesh (alongside Chess Knight and Dial Jess) and was voted Chicago’s Best DJ three years in a row. Since the nightlife shutdown, she’s been able to successfully pivot to DJ streaming, building one of the strongest communities on Twitch and becoming a Twitch Partner. In this interview, Lani Love talks about why DJs should try out streaming, how Chicago made her a better DJ, and shares some fascinating tidbits about plants.
