For DJs, Rich Medina is a musical figure who should need no introduction. As a producer and curator for over two decades, his influence on world and underground music culture is undeniable. Originally from New Jersey and raised in Philly, music has taken him around the globe to command rooms with his cultivated selection of hip-hop, house, Afrobeat, funk and soul. In this interview, Rich talks about the legendary NYC club APT, the importance of having the support of a venue as a DJ, being an American when you travel overseas and the crown jewel for getting over at a wedding.
