The one-fifth mile paved short track located on Indy’s east side is famous for its thrilling Figure 8 racing and intense oval action. Its signature event is the annual World Championship 3-Hour Figure 8 Endurance Race held each September.We will speak with Johnathan Byrd, the new track president and general manager. One of the oldest auto racing venues in the United States, the historic Lincoln Tech Indianapolis Speedrome, is now entering a new era under the ownership of Kevin Garrigus. “I am very proud to own the Speedrome“, stated Mr. Garrigus. “And I am extremely excited about its future.
