The last episode of NGOpodcast which was episode 18 features Tristaca McCray the President and Chief Executive Officer of NERDS RULE INC., A San Diego – based Nongovernmental organization that gives communities, youth, teens and young adults in the United States and around the world a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and become effective leaders.
The organization was founded in 2011 in order to develop and support chapters of student groups on campuses and around the communities. From that moment forward, she has served as Executive Director of the non-profit, leading the organization as it engages student leaders nationwide and promotes a unified national voice for youth, teens and young adults.
On this episode, Tristaca tell us more about her organization, their fantastic project that got them an award and recognition from the then first lady of the united states of America, Michelle Obama and Barack Obama.
