Only moments prior to my arrival, he had already recorded vital signs for all of my patients. Yet, he was confused as to why I prioritised a repeat set, and a full head to toe on one of my trauma patients. In today’s episode, I explain what I’m looking for during a head to toe assessment for a patient coming of a mechanism of injury that could mask secondary injuries; plus I go over the importance of setting tight alarm Parameters for such patients as well.
