“Abraham’s Hospitality”

1. The Lord appeared to Abraham
* One of the three travelers was the Lord (Preincarnate Christ)
2. The hospitality of Abraham
* Genesis 18:6-7 Making hospitality preparations quickly
* Genesis 18:6-7 High quality hospitality
* Genesis 18:6-8 Sufficient amount of hospitality
* Genesis 18:8 Abraham's own hospitality in serving
* Hebrews 13:2 “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” (NIV)
3. The One who comes to visit us
* Revelation 3:20 “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” (NIV)
* John 1:10-12 “He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” (NIV)
