If you watched the MAX docuseries about Natalia Grace, you know how that case was influenced by the 2009 horror movie, "The Orphan", but what you might not know is that the horror movie was inspired by a true story that took place in the Czech Republic. A woman named Barbora Skrlova, born with a condition known as hypopituitarism, which affected her growth and appearance, making her look much younger than her actual age, used this to her advantage to escape justice and manipulate others, posing as different children in different countries and recruiting new members into her father's cult, known as The Grail.
