Jesus von Nazareth ist die Identifikationsfigur der Christenheit. Das Neue Testament ist seine frohe Botschaft und der Referenzpunkt seiner Weisheit. Doch nicht nur die kanonischen Texte des NT geben uns ein Bild dessen, was Jesus als weisen Lehrer ausmacht. Im Thomas-Evangelium, einem apokryphen Text, der es also nicht in die Bibel geschafft hat, finden sich Worte Jesu, die zwar vielen heute zwar unbekannt sind, aber dennoch als Weisheitsquell verstanden werden können. Von welcher Art der Weisheit aber sprechen wir bei Jesus mit Block auf diese Quellen?
Wir haben Konrad Schwarz gefragt. Er hilft Jesus als Weisen und damit natürlich die Evangelien besser zu verstehen.

Jesus of Nazareth is the identification figure of Christianity. The New Testament is his good news and the reference point of his wisdom. But not only the canonical texts of the NT give us a picture of what makes Jesus a wise teacher. In the Gospel of Thomas, an apocryphal text that thus did not make it into the Bible, we find words of Jesus that, although unknown to many today, can nevertheless be understood as a source of wisdom. But what kind of wisdom are we talking about in Jesus with Block on these sources?
We asked Konrad Schwarz. He helps us to better understand Jesus as a sage and thus, of course, the Gospels.
