This months podcast finds us in conversation with author, historian, TV and Radio show host David Hume. David is passionate about sharing the positives of our history and heritage and was instrumental in the openings of the two Museums of Orange Heritage. He has a wealth of historical knowledge that he seems to be able to just draw on any subject at any time and can explain things in very down to earth way. This interview took place a few days before the first episode of The Long and the Short of it went out on BBC and all episodes are now available on iPlayer. We talk about everything from the importance of knowing your history and culture, bands and the origins of parades as well as partition, education, slavery, the union, bands, and a whole host of other things.
