HEAT POSTCAST: Tyrese Halliburton Goes Off, Indiana Pacers Torch Miami Heat 128-115 in Miami

Tyrese Halliburton and the Indiana Pacers came out red-hot and never looked back, torching the Miami Heat 128-115 at Kaseya Center.

Haliburton scored 33 points (on 61.9% shooting) and dished out 15 assists, Myles Turner added 21 points and Pascal Siakam added 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Pacers, who shot 53% and led by as many as 28 points.

Kel’el Ware led Miami with 25 points. Bam Adebayo scored 20, Tyler Herro added 17 and Terry Rozier had 16 for Miami.

Jimmy Butler scored nine points, and didn’t play in the fourth quarter for a second consecutive night. After the game, Butler told the media he isn’t having fun playing basketball. When asked if he could have fun playing again in Miami, the Heat’s franchise player’s response was “probably not.”

The Pacers made 17 3-pointers in the game. They are 8-2 this season when making at least 15 3’s in a game, and just 5-10 this year in games where they made 12 or fewer from 3.

Miami got to within 14 points early in the 3rd quarter, before the Pacers scored six points in 30 seconds to go up 78-58 with 8:08 left in that quarter.

Haliburton had 16 points and five assists in the first quarter. It was just that kind of night for Miami.

The Heat host the Utah Jazz on Saturday night before heading out west for an6-game road trip starting next week.
