1) Actions: Consistent consequences
Seven steps to discipline:
- Clear WARNING.
- Establish responsibility.
- Avoid EMBARASSMENT.
- Communicate grief.
- Flick the WRIST.
- Sincere repentance.
- Unconditional LOVE.
2) Words: Clear instructions
Four ways to use words to bring about correction:
- Say “no” FIRMLY.
- CLEAR WARNING of consequences.
- Use CONTRACTS.
- Use CONSEQUENCES
