For this episode, LGBT FC goes to the heartland, specifically New Mexico and Nebraska, to hear from some of their United Soccer League (USL) LGBTQ supporters. Daisy is back to co-host, as we recap some of the recent MLS and LAFC news to start the show. At 8' our Day in Gay covers a tragic death in Australia, questions of Pride in hockey (aka: "the soccer of ice"), a new soccer jersey sponsor in Seattle, and a Kiwi who just came out.
At 20' we welcome our first guests, Josh Martin and Jesus Padilla of New Mexico United's "The Curse" SG. And then at 41' we have with us Ed Fox and Phoebe Martin of Union Omaha's "Proud Owls" SG. We are honored and thrilled to be able to talk with these awesome LGBTQ folks who are courageous and visible and out in their communities.
