Welcome to Episode 19 of Know Ideas! In this episode we travelled to London to speak to Artist, Musician and Filmmaker, Babak Ganjei. His work is funny, satirical, vulnerable and self referencial. He creates hand painted thoughts and makes them into neon signs. Paints living rooms from the 90s sitcoms he wished he’d lived in and lives in a part of London where sticks from the park go for big bucks on ebay. We had a brilliant time with Babak. We spoke about him and his son Arthur and the work they have now done together. We chatted about his childhood, growing up between London and the south coast and off mic we had a good chat about chocolate bars. Its a really fun episode and is a brilliant insight into his work and life as an artist. He’s up there with being the most ideas based guest we’ve had on! We love ideas!
