A medically trained doctor with a specialist interest in neurosurgery, Dr. Fantis completed his degree in Neurosurgery with outstanding achievement and has conducted pivotal research on the applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in neurosurgery at Buckingham University (UK). His work in this area, particularly on molecular diagnostics and AI in gliomas, has garnered recognition and led to presentations at esteemed conferences such as the Society of British Neurosurgeons.

Prior to his role at Encode Health, Dr. Fantis was the lead surgical officer at Touch Surgery in London. There, he pioneered the innovative use of app-based platforms to teach surgery. He collaborated with world-renowned surgeons and medical device corporations, distilling complex surgical procedures into accessible, animated guides that have trained surgeons globally.
