A man embarks on a solo cross-country drive to California, only to find more company than he expected on his journey.

Originally written by Lucille Fletcher for Orson Welles's radio series, this classic script of suspense was performed for radio four different times and was also adapted for TV in the first season of "The Twilight Zone."
