Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 16:8
The LORD looks from heaven he beholds all the sons of men. Psalm 33:13
DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 33
Not only did God create the universe and all that is in it, but He watches over His creation the way a loving parent watches over his or her child. His Word says, “He gazes on all the inhabitants of the earth” (Psalm 33:13 CSB), which means His eyes are on you now. His ear is attentive to your prayers. His heart is full of love for you.
As you lie down to sleep, try to calm your mind. Bask in His presence and allow His truth to ease your mind and soothe your soul. Think about how much He cares for you-His creation. Know that His faithful love rests on you tonight as you put your trust in Him.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION:
The same God who spoke the world into existence is the God who speaks truth and love into your life. Take time to delight in this amazing fact and let love for Him flow from your heart.
CONFESSION:
Confess when you have taken God’s good gifts in your life for granted. Ask for His forgiveness and His help to remember His blessings, the majesty of the heavens, and the miracle of your life.
THANKSGIVING:
Rejoice in His power and majesty on display in creation and your life. Thank Him for His Word and for revealing His truth to you. Thank Him for the times He has helped and delivered you through your troubles.
SUPPLICATION:
Father, thank You for the beauty of Your creation, which I so enjoy. Thank You for reassuring me that You see me, know about the details of my life, and Your hand is on each one. Thank You for all the ways You’ve shown Your faithful love to me and the comfort that brings. You are so good to me. Let me always be mindful of that. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Lord, You are the prize I seek and the treasure my Spirit longs for. Others may search for riches, fame, and talent, but I want You. There is no real goodness apart from You, so keep me close and don’t let me go. I want to bless You with my life and rejoice in Your goodness for all eternity. Make Your ways evident to me, and continually show me the path to peace. You hold my life and future in Your hands. You have mapped out all my days. There is no reason to fear whatever storms may come if You are with me. May I rest secure in my inheritance tonight. May I sleep knowing that my salvation, soul, and sanctification are solely in You. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen. 🙏🏾
