Episode 251 hosts Pene Timberlake, a Nurse Practioner from Freshwater, Australia. Pene was one of our very first guests on IA (Episodes 3, 26 and 43) and is one of the country's most experienced nurse injectors.
We first learn about her progression from being a Registered Nurse to a Nurse Practitioner (NP). We get an understanding about what this qualification entails and why this was so challenging. We also learn about why the door for nurses wanting to become aesthetic NP's is now effectively closed.

With the landscape and regulations having changed so much in Australia, we explore the deeper issue of whether the bar has simply been set too low to become an injector? We ponder whether the changes that have been made were actually very necessary and what else needs to be done to create a recognised 'injecting' speciality.
