Some people have struggled with the concept that the Messiah could both be God and man. Many of the people in history who were looking forward to the promised Messiah's arrival expected a man who was a powerful ruler and conqueror with the might to set them free but did not believe that it could be God Himself. Indeed, there are those who refuse this idea even today, because this would place Jesus above all other men. But this prophecy to them by Isaiah predicts the Messiah will be known as "Mighty God." You are invited to join with us as we explore the implications of the Messiah who is not just a great man, but of whom Isaiah says, "His Name Shall Be Called...Mighty God" in Isaiah 9: 1 - 7.
