In The Mix with Reggie TheJazzman

I recently found this mix in my catalog. This is something I put together quite a few years ago for a show honoring the top 10 most influential African Americans of the 20th century. I didn't get to meet Maya Angelou at that event in NYC but I heard she liked the mix.
Poet, teacher and activist, Maya Angelou's voice is powerful and precise, full of years of education and wisdom. As simple as this project seemed to be it was somewhat overwhelming and quite intimidating but I think the music compliments the poet and her poetry perfectly.
