SOME LISTENERS MIGHT HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS PERSONALLY & IF SO, I AM SORRY FOR YOUR PAIN. SOME LISTENERS MIGHT KNOW SOMEBODY WHO IS, OR HAS HAD TO COPE WITH THIS UNTHINKABLE CRIME, & SOME LISTENERS MIGHT NOT BE AWARE AT ALL OF THIS RAW REALITY THAT OCCURS EVERY DAY ON A LARGE SCALE… I’D LIKE YOU ALL TO CLOSE YOUR EYES & ‘FEEL’ THE WORDS I AM ABOUT TO SPEAK & IMAGINE HOW IT FEELS TO ‘LIVE’ IT. Innocent children go missing every day when they disappear into their fractured minds borne from childhood sexual abuse. What happens when these children are NOT heard? To put it plainly: Incomprehensible damage, is what occurs. Which is then carried into adulthood. Which in turn, is creating a society of unhealed adults trying the very best they can to ‘exist’ within the aftermath of a crime that should NOT have occured. Children break every day when they are subjected to abuse. Their underdeveloped minds cannot comprehend this invasion. And it doesn’t just end there. These children are then left to navigate in a world that now feels unsafe, with no trustworthy inner-compass, because an adult told them that ‘It did not happen That they are imagining it all, or that it's normal'. These children then cannot trust what they know to be true, so they obliterate their sense-of-self until it is non-existent. Slowly their BIG childlike innocent wishes & dreams are replaced by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (Complex PTSD if the abuse is ongoing & prolonged), Personality Disorders, Dissociative Disorders & self-harm: Self-loathing, self-hatred, rage, anger & confusion.
