Welcome to episode 3 of the IMG ARENA Podcast series! Who remembers their first job? Well, this month’s episode is all about first jobs and grad schemes. We hear from Ariane Power who is the Events Executive within the Marketing Team, Ed Felton who is a Research and Data Analyst in the Rights Team and finally John Medina who is currently on our new Technology Grad Scheme and has only been with us for a few weeks. For them all, IMG ARENA is the first step in the beginning of their career, with Ariane joining the company as part of the IMG Intern Programme, Ed joining after having completed his master’s degree and John being one of the first recruits on our Graduate Scheme. In this episode we’re speaking to a few people who were there right at the beginning of our story, as well as a couple of newbies. We kicked off our new series by recording the episode in our London office with Freddie Tibbles from Technology, Andrew Corser from Sales, Jordan Toomey from Delivery and Jacek Gronek from Sports Services - who joined us remotely from our Poland office. Freddie, Jacek and Andrew all discuss what it was like when they joined, what building the company (some departments literally from scratch!) entailed, and we also hear the challenges and lessons learnt along the way. There might even feature a story about chickens in Morocco!
