It's Monday, March 4th, 2024 and welcome to the March edition of Hills Review -- the High School East Student Podcast. The decision to change your entire life by moving to a new country can be a challenging one. This Tuesday, Arnav Singh talks with immigrants to the United States about why they decided to move here and what it has been like adapting to American culture while trying to hold on to their original identities. Each school subject resonates differently with everyone, and we all find each subject to have varying degrees of enjoyment. On Wednesday, Joseph Masalin and Darren Figueroa ask students and staff what is their favorite subject and why? This Thursday, Jaiden Muniz takes a look at the role teachers play in society and makes the case that teachers actually get paid very little for the amount of work their job requires of them. The Little Prince is a deceptively complex children's book that has enlightened readers since it was written in 1943. On Friday, Ella Woods, Savannah Fine, William Santiago, and Amir Hussein sit down to discuss and interpret this classic novella.
